He knows my name!

My life verse: "I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel." (Isaiah 45:3). For me, "the treasures of darkness" has been the medically-treated depression that I have suffered off and on with for years. More than anything else in my life, I think this has made me realize how much my Savior loves me and has deepened my relationship with God. The "hidden riches of secret places" are my wonderful family and this fabulous craft--tatting! I thank God for both!
I think it is awesome that God knows my name! Did you know that He knows yours?

Nametags

I saw some beautiful nametags decorated with tatting when I was at the Hector Tat Days this year. I was tiring of my shawl pattern and the doily that I've been working on, so I decided to try my hand at making a nametag. I have one of those plastic sleeves on a jaw clip that I can slide this into. The pattern for the edging is "Betty" by Rosemarie Peel. The thread is Lizbeth #129.
No posts for at least the next week, I'll be teaching at Good News Camp. There is no computer access at all at our campgrounds, and it may be way to hot to be tatting (high 90's are predicted for all week)!

  5. I'm sorry Lelia, I don't know of any online patterns. I just cut the "plastic" canvas and penciled out my name on graph paper. The edging, I picked out afterward.
