He knows my name!
My life verse: "I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel." (Isaiah 45:3). For me, "the treasures of darkness" has been the medically-treated depression that I have suffered off and on with for years. More than anything else in my life, I think this has made me realize how much my Savior loves me and has deepened my relationship with God. The "hidden riches of secret places" are my wonderful family and this fabulous craft--tatting! I thank God for both!
I think it is awesome that God knows my name! Did you know that He knows yours?

Delightful !!! And very creative :-)
ReplyDeleteI had typed out my comment earlier but the moment I hit 'Publish' , the post disappeared .
Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteThe disappearing act was my fault entirely! I didn't "preview" the post, counting on the fact that it was all cut and paste from the word document in which I wrote the story...then after I hit publish, I realized the words on the pictures were too small to read.
This townie living in the country has no idea about cattle other than there are severL different breeds of cattle and some are dairy that you milk and some are beef, breed just for there meat.
ReplyDeleteYour story has made me laugh I think it is very very creative and brilliant
Thanks
Margaret
Margaret--
DeleteThat is about all I know too!
I'm glad I made you laugh!
Cute story. :-) I don't know anything about cows other than there are some you milk and some raised for beef. Oh, and there are purple cows -
ReplyDeleteI never saw a purple cow,
I never hope to see one,
But I can tell you this right now,
I'd rather see than be one.
There may be a second verse to that. Don't know who wrote it, it's one of those things I just sort of 'grew up' with.
What a cute verse! I think the purple cows go with the purple people eaters! (I'd rather see one of those than be one as well!)
DeleteA criticism in the middle of a compliment? Oh yes, many times. And, I did not enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteBut, I have no criticism of your lovely & imaginative post. :-)
Thank you! I struggled with this join so long--it really helps me having a way to remember it! Maybe it will help someone else.
