DAY 1
What a hoot. Just Love your idea!!!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture. Thanks Patricia
"Jane--Thank you for doing another year's TIAS!
Enjoying Tatting in Muskogee OK USA
DAY 2
"I can't wait to see my inchworm transform into something bigger!"
DAY 3
That is a HOOT. Poor Nick came running to see what I was laughing about. VERY clever manipulation of the graphic too. THANK YOU.
Poor Nick had to come running when he heard me chortling over Patricia's picture. What a HOOT. Thanks for the best giggle of the day -- so far!!!
DAY 4
Well I've never heard of that game before but that's probably just me!!! Your poor sister but there again that's what sisters are for when you're growing up!!!! Just love this picture too. You're so clever.
"Jane--
Do they play "Slug Bug" there? Growing up, anytime you saw a VW Bug, you got to pinch, poke, or punch (depending on who you were with!) the person you wanted to irritate the most in the car...for me it was usually my sister!"
I've never heard of the game, Patricia but then that's probably me. Come on those in the UK -- have you heard of it? LOVE the picture.
DAY 5
Thanks, Patricia -- just added you to the blog. BC3 seems to be in a funk at the moment but I've got the glimmering of an idea I want to work on!!!!
"On Day Five
From Jane's Brain cell #3 and her tatting shuttle
This tatted creation of hers only wants to cuddle!
DAY 6
WONDERFUL picture. SO SO SO clever. Thanks
Ah, my oh my, Patricia's pictures just get better. LOVE this one too -- thanks, Jane
"Thank you so much for doing this --- it is really fun! It is probably a frog, but I'm not ready to "go along with the crowd" just yet--I have to stay bamboozled and say I really don't know yet!
DAY 7
"Sorry Jane -- I let the men in my family guess today!"
Don't apologise -- looks feasible!!!!!! Thanks -- just updating the blog!
Patricia apologizes for letting the men in her life guess Day 7. Look what they came up with -- a lobster!!!
Later on in the morning I had this message from Patricia. Something I really didn't know about but am so glad we don't have them here!
"I hate to point this out...maybe you don't have them in England, that dreadful creature is a poisonous scorpion (I hate them!) not a delicious lobster!
Oh, right. Didn't know that!!! Will add this comment to my mistake!!! Thankfully we don't have scorpions over here!!!
DAY 8
What a pleasant surprise to have an new guess!!!! Thanks. Not saying whether it's a kangaroo or not!!!
AHA, a new guess -- goodie!!! This is from Patricia who has also illustrated her idea too.
"Hopping on in for today's guess!!"
That's a hoppingly good guess, Patricia!!!
DAY 10
WONDERFUL picture. Just LOVE it. Thanks for the giggle.
LOVE Patricia's picture. Here's her comment too!!!
"Jane--
(Sorry I fell behind.) If Tigger can't tell the difference between his friends, you can't expect me to!
Day 11
Thanks, Patricia. Perhaps next year it'll be a kinkajou or you could put a tail on this one!!!!
Patricia is next in my inbox with her - well, I'll let her tell you!
"Jane--
I have given up on the kangaroo idea...and am just stubborn enough to not guess rabbit!
Was this kinkajou your model before it found the 99 year-old lady to cuddle with?

Day 13
That's funny. I love Elmer being dealt with as he deserves!!!! Glad the rabbit escaped too!!!!
Heeee, Heeeeee.
Patricia's back with her day 13 and two pictures. So glad that Elmer is
now being 'dealt with'. He deserves all he gets trying to shoot
rabbits!!!!
"A kinder, gentler post--at your request!
This has been a hoppin lot of fun! Thank you so much Jane!

Goodbye 2016 TIAS!
What will the 2017 TIAS be?
Mine is red and some crazy eyes I must finish mine today :) great post!
ReplyDeleteI will look for yours on Jane's TIAS blog! It is so fun to see all of the different colors of these projects!
DeleteGreat rabbit! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, I'm rather proud of him/her!
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking part - without people like you and your wonderful pictures my life would've been very dull through the past few weeks.
ReplyDeleteJane,
DeleteI appreciate what you do so much--the way you freely share your talent and passion! The TIAS also takes quite a bit of time daily.
I came so close to not doing the TIAS this year because of my health. Challenging myself to take part and keep up became secondary to my real test--coming up with something that would amuse others each day. I'm glad that (in your eyes) I achieved my goal!
I loved your comments too Patricia!! Great fun the TIAS aren't they?? By the way, we don't have 'Slug Bug' here, it's 'Mini Punch'!! Driving a (Pig)mini I can vouch for the dead arm from the passenger seat every time we pass one!!! LOL
ReplyDeletePigmini--
DeleteI LOVE the comments on the TIAS! We have Maureen's comments about a rabbit to thank for this year's TIAS! It is so fun to get a smile from Jane--or a different reaction (Elmer Fudd hunting or your pie/stew!) Maybe we can inspire more comments for next year's TIAS!
With NOONE commenting about "Slug But"--I had justt about decided it was a conspiracy among my family and friends to abuse me and get away with it!! Thank you for making "slug bug" a friendly game again!!
I enjoyed your comments on pictures of the TIAS. Great. I can't do that but I sure enjoyed looking at yours.
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much! I am not really computer literate, but when I volunteered for Child Evangelism Fellowship office--much of what I did was creating visualized Bible verses and visualized songs for use in out Good News Clubs. To do that, I got fairly proficient at cutting and pasting using Photoshop and Printshop. For the TIAS, Google images provided most of the material I used and then I just relied on my old skills. :)
