He knows my name!

My life verse: "I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel." (Isaiah 45:3). For me, "the treasures of darkness" has been the medically-treated depression that I have suffered off and on with for years. More than anything else in my life, I think this has made me realize how much my Savior loves me and has deepened my relationship with God. The "hidden riches of secret places" are my wonderful family and this fabulous craft--tatting! I thank God for both!
I think it is awesome that God knows my name! Did you know that He knows yours?

TIAS 2017

My blog has been sadly neglected for the last few months.  Blame my health and laziness!

I managed to get my Christmas tatting done this last year.  My ornament for all the nieces, nephews and grandchildren was my "Their Five Year Mission" design done in Lizbeth "Cranberry Bush" and "White".  These fit nicely in a CD case.  I like giving a container in which the ornament can be stored.  An added bonus here is that an "empty box" means that a real tree gets another look before being put out for disposal.

Today was the last day of TIAS 2017--the brainchild of Jane Eborall.  She breaks one of her new patterns into little bits and releases it onto the internet a tidbit every few days.  She then posts the scans of tatter's work in progress that they email in to her.  My many thanks to her for sharing her talent, as well as the effort and time it takes to post these submissions to a blog.

I challenged myself--to not only keep pace with the daily pattern posts, but to try to be entertaining in my return posts to Jane.  I did fall behind a few days at one point but caught back up.  The following were my email presentations.
